Thorogood's moc toe work boot design offers comfort and durability for punishing jobs. These boots are available in three colors: Tobacco (804-4208), Trail Crazyhorse (804-4478), and Midnight Black (804-6208).

These boots are made in the USA and feature a Maxwear Wedge™ Traction Outsole that flexes better than other work boot outsoles. It absorbs impacts, protecting your feet and ankles while working on difficult surfaces such as loose gravel and wet and oily surfaces. These boots meet the ASTM F3445-21 slip-resistance standards.

The shaft height of these boots is mid-calf.

About the Brand:

In 1892, Albert H. Weinbrenner opened a cobblery in Milwaukee with his partner, Joseph Peffer, serving "Jobbing" trades. In 1900, Albert H. Weinbrenner Co. was formed. The company became a major contributor of boots to the U.S. Army in WWI and introduced the "Job-fitted" concept in 1917. In 1938, the company entered the safety footwear production. In 1943, the company workers organized under the International Boot & Shoe Workers Union.

In 1964, the company introduced the official Boy Scout Boot, which became their best-selling boot of all time. In 1988, the company was purchased by a local group and created the "ThoroGard" division for occupational safety footwear. In 1992, Weinbrenner celebrated its 100 years in business. In 2000, the employees took ownership of the company through ESOP. In 2001, the company donated work boots to Ground Zero after the September 11 terror attacks. In 2014, the 1892 Heritage line of handcrafted lifestyle boots was introduced. In 2017, Weinbrenner celebrated its 125th anniversary. In 2022, the company opened a new factory in Merrill, WI, and launched their first western wear product, Thorogood's Square Toe Wellingtons. In 2023, sales continue to increase as Thorogood gains popularity and expands with new styles on the horizon.

Product Description:

These safety toe boots meet or exceed the ASTM F2413 testing standards for impact and compression. They retain a minimum clearance of .500 inch (1/2 inch) for men's and .468 inch (15/32 inch) for women's after impact and compression forces. They also meet the ASTM F2413-18 electrical hazard resistance safety standards.

The boots feature an oil-resisting outsole designed to withstand damage due to oil. They are also slip-resistant, meeting the ASTM F3445 industry criteria for slip-resisting footwear.
