In 1892, Albert H. Weinbrenner, aged 27, opens a cobblery in Milwaukee with his partner, Joseph Peffer, serving "Jobbing" trades.

In 1900, Albert H. Weinbrenner Co. is formed.

In 1916, the first catalog is printed. The company has more leather cutting machines than any other in the U.S.

In 1917, the "Job-fitted" concept is introduced. Weinbrenner becomes a major contributor of boots to the U.S. Army in World War I.
