From the brand Previous page 1892: Albert H. Weinbrenner opens a cobblery in Milwaukee with his partner, Joseph Peffer, serving "Jobbing" trades. At the age of 27, Weinbrenner begins his entrepreneurial journey.
In 1900, the Albert H. Weinbrenner Co. is formed. Sixteen years later, in 1916, they print their first catalog and become the leading leather cutting machines provider in the U.S. Their success continues in 1917 when they introduce the "Job-fitted" concept and contribute significantly to the production of boots for the U.S. Army during World War I.
