The Trail Crazyhorse Brown (804-3554) boots for men, made with premium full-grain leather, offer durability and protection. These boots have a vintage Old West look, thanks to a special wax treatment applied to the leather during production. They are American made, with components sourced from the USA and around the world, and crafted by skilled workers at Thorogood's US plants.

The boots feature a Vibram® heel outsole with deep lugs and a reinforced tip stitch, providing excellent traction and impact absorption on challenging terrain. They meet ASTM F3445-21 Slip Test Standards and ASTM F2413-18 Electrical Hazard Resistance Standards.

With a steel toe and a steel shank for support and stability, these boots offer superior foot protection on the job. They are also waterproof, thanks to the Aztec Lining and Ultimate Shock Absorption footbed, which keep your feet dry and comfortable even after long hours of work. Additionally, the 400g 3M Thinsulate insulation provides warmth and comfort throughout the day.

The Vibram midsole adds durability and enhances shock absorption and stability. The boots are constructed using Goodyear Storm Welt construction, ensuring wear resistance and a moisture seal between the upper and midsole. This makes these boots highly reliable, long-lasting, and fully-serviceable.

From the Brand:

In 1892, Albert H. Weinbrenner and Joseph Peffer opened a cobblery in Milwaukee. In 1900, they formed the Albert H. Weinbrenner Co. The company became a major supplier of boots to the US Army during WWI and introduced the "Job-Fitted" concept in 1917. Throughout its history, the company has continuously innovated and produced high-quality footwear.

In 1988, the company was purchased by a local group, and the "ThoroGard" division was created, specializing in high-tech occupational safety footwear. In 1992, Weinbrenner celebrated its 100th anniversary.

In 2000, Weinbrenner's employees took ownership of the company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). After the September 11 terror attacks, Weinbrenner donated durable work boots to Ground Zero. In 2014, they introduced the 1892 Heritage line of handcrafted lifestyle boots.

In 2017, Weinbrenner celebrated its 125th anniversary and committed to upgrading and improving its domestic facilities, machines, equipment, manufacturing methods, and computer systems/programs. In 2022, they celebrated 130 years as a company, opening a new factory in Merrill, WI, and launching their first western wear product, Thorogood's Square Toe Wellingtons. Sales continue to increase in 2023, as Thorogood gains popularity and introduces new styles.

We offer extended sizes, metatarsal guards, lace-to-toe, side zip, and wellington styles.

Our Class I/75 footwear provides excellent toe protection, retaining a clearance of 0.5 inches after a 75-foot-pound impact. Our Class C/75 footwear retains the same clearance after compression of 2500 lbs or greater. All our boots are made with electric shock-resisting soles and heels capable of withstanding 18,000 volts.

We use a waterproof, breathable membrane to keep your feet dry and comfortable. The 400g 3M Thinsulate insulation offers warmth without added bulk. Our footwear is made in the USA, with domestically and globally sourced components.

The Vibram Tacoma outsole is self-cleaning and designed for outdoor use. The Thorogood Men's Logger Series boots have a 9-inch height, 400g insulation, and a safety toe for added protection. The oil-tanned leather and single-density wedge outsole provide excellent grip and shock absorption.

Our Made in USA footwear is manufactured at our two union factories in Wisconsin, using American hides and components sourced from the USA. We also offer Berry Compliant options that are 100% Made in the USA.
