Previous page 1892: Albert H. Weinbrenner, along with partner Joseph Peffer, opens a cobblery in Milwaukee at the age of 27, serving "Jobbing" trades.

1900: Albert H. Weinbrenner Co. is established.

1916: The company prints its first catalog and becomes the largest producer of leather cutting machines in the United States.

1917: Introduces the "Job-fitted" concept and becomes a major supplier of boots to the U.S. Army during WWI.

1938: Enters the safety footwear production industry.

1942: Celebrates 50 years in business, exclusively manufacturing military footwear during WWII and gaining popularity among civilians.

1943: Workers organize under the International Boot & Shoe Workers Union, establishing an outstanding relationship with management that continues to this day.

• [C] COMPRESSION: Footwear retains a clearance of at least .500 inches (1/2 inch) for men's and .468 inches (15/32 inch) for women's after a compression force of 2500 lbs. (11,121 N).

Our footwear is tested to meet the slip-resisting criteria outlined in ASTM F3445-21.

OIL-RESISTING:

The outsole is designed to withstand or reduce damage caused by oil.

ELECTRIC HAZARD:

Constructed or manufactured with electric shock-resisting soles and heels capable of withstanding an application of 18,000 volts (root mean square (RMS) value) at 60 Hz for 1 minute, with no current flow or leakage in excess of 1.0 milliamperes under dry conditions.
